You will stop for pictures at the Equator, a line that divides the world into two, the safari will allow you to get good shorts of pictures from your window of long Horned cattle, side markets in Lukaya, Lyantonde the famous places for roasted meat and plantain know as \u201cGonja\u201d and fruit market in Mbarara, Lunch shall be served in Mbarara, and then drive direct to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park arriving at your hotel late in the evening for Overnight.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Options for this Journey<\/strong>:\u00a0You may choose to have a domestic scheduled flight which can be arranged at an extra cost, the flights approximate time is 1 hr 45 minutes hrs either from \/to Entebbe Airport<\/p>\n<p>Travel time by road from Kampala to Bwindi is 9-10hrs<\/p>\n<p>Hotel\/Lodge Option:\u00a0Gorilla Forest Camp \/ Mahogany \/Buhoma Lodge for Luxury \/ SilverBack \/ Egagi Lodge for Medium\/Standard \/ Buhoma Community Camp for Budget options<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 2: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park <a href=\"https:\/\/builttosellsites.com\/oldababa\/blog\/experience-gorilla-trekking-safari-in-uganda\">Gorilla trekking<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nAt 07:15 you shall be served with breakfast and your guide will lead you to the briefing ground to get the briefing at 8.00am before entry to the forest for gorilla trekking. The guides will then take you through the bush pushing your way through the undergrowth, parting thick creepers to the track the gorillas, When the gorillas are spotted, the guide shall ask you to stand 7 meters away from the apes and you are requested t0 remove the flash light on your camera.<\/p>\n<p>The trekking can be tiring, its therefore advisable to carry parked lunch, drinking water and good jungle boots, rain jacket could be require as this is a rain forest any time it could rain. You shall return to your accommodation to refresh for a few hours and later an afternoon guided village walk to learn how the communities around Bwindi are benefiting from the tourism in the area; this is an ideal short walk. A number of different bird species, Bwindi\u2019s colorful array of butterflies, coffee, tea and potato plantation gardens are along this trail. Enroute you will spot, if you\u2019re lucky, the tree climbing lions, Savannah grasslands, and Ankole cattle grazing in the meadows.
