After your breakfast at 07:30am, begin panoramic Safari south-word to Bwindi Gorilla Park through the Kigezi Highlands in the beauties of the “Switzerland of Africa”. You will stop for pictures at the Equator, a line that divides the world into two, the safari will allow you to get good shorts of pictures from your window of long Horned cattle, side markets in Lukaya, Lyantonde the famous places for roasted meat and plantain know as “Gonja” and fruit market in Mbarara, Lunch shall be served in Mbarara, and then drive direct to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park arriving at your hotel late in the evening for Overnight.

Options for this Journey: You may choose to have a domestic scheduled flight which can be arranged at an extra cost, the flights approximate time is 1 hr 45 minutes hrs either from /to Entebbe Airport

Travel time by road from Kampala to Bwindi is 9-10hrs

Day 2: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Gorilla trekking
At 07:15 you shall be served with breakfast and your guide will lead you to the briefing ground to get the briefing at 8.00am before entry to the forest for gorilla trekking. The guides will then take you through the bush pushing your way through the undergrowth, parting thick creepers to the track the gorillas, When the gorillas are spotted, the guide shall ask you to stand 7 meters away from the apes and you are requested t0 remove the flash light on your camera.

The trekking can be tiring, its therefore advisable to carry parked lunch, drinking water and good jungle boots, rain jacket could be require as this is a rain forest any time it could rain. You shall return to your accommodation to refresh for a few hours and later an afternoon guided village walk to learn how the communities around Bwindi are benefiting from the tourism in the area; this is an ideal short walk. A number of different bird species, Bwindi’s colorful array of butterflies, coffee, tea and potato plantation gardens are along this trail. The Bwindi tour shall be marked ended when you return to you hotel for dinner while you sit with your guide for a debrief and briefing for the next day’s program, retiring for overnight later.

Day 3: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, drive northwards to Queen Elizabeth National park via Ishasha sector for the tree climbing lions. Enroute you will spot, if you’re lucky, the tree climbing lions, Savannah grasslands, and Ankole cattle grazing in the meadows. You will arrive in time for Lunch, Dinner and Overnight.

Day 4: Game drive in Queen Elizabeth
After an early morning warm up cup of tea/coffee, proceed for an early risers game drive that starts at 6:30 to catch the cats as they go back to their hiding places.  Expect to spot common animals that can be easily seen like the elephants, spotted hyenas, leopards and they duck to ambush weak animals beginning to graze, lions, and hippopotamus going back to the water.

After this game drive that will last for 3hours, you will return to the hotel for full breakfast 5 Days Bwindi and Queen Elizabeth National Park Safaribefore you go for another interesting landscape game drive at the crater area. Later Lunch at the hotel and relax to refresh as you wait for afternoon boat ride to Kazinga channel, good time to spot different species of birds and animals at close range, return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth – Kampala City/Entebbe
There is an option of a day’s activity, (that is if you have enough time in Uganda) this requires and early rise with either packed breakfast or just take your breakfast and proceed. The activities that can be chosen in a short time include; chimpanzee tracking to Kyambura Gorge, you would also be interested in bats at Maramagambo forest with a ranger guide or just proceed back to Kampala or Entebbe to catch your flight back home.[/vc_wp_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Inclusions & Exclusions” tab_id=”inclusions-exclusions”][vc_wp_text]Tour Cost Includes:
